As a Senior Dynamics 365 Engineer, you’ll play a key role in supporting and enhancing enterprise Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions, combining hands-on technical expertise with a mindset focused on reliability, automation, and continuous improvement. This role follows a hybrid working model. While Nottingham is the primary location, candidates based anywhere in the UK will be considered.
ResponsibilitiesYour future duties and responsibilities include:
- Providing hands-on technical support and engineering capability across Dynamics 365 and Power Platform services, ensuring platforms remain stable, secure, and performant.
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues, supporting releases across non-production and production environments, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of deployment pipelines and operational processes.
- Working closely with developers, platform engineers, and service teams to help shape well-documented, automated, and repeatable solutions.
- Improving runbooks, sharing knowledge, and identifying opportunities to enhance system resilience, DevOps practices, and overall service quality.
Deploy & Operate: Manage and support releases across environments, including occasional out-of-hours deployments.
Collaborate & Contribute: Work with cross-functional teams on solution design, deployment, and operational improvements.
Automate & Improve: Enhance CI/CD pipelines and platform management using agreed tools and standards.
Document & Share: Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.
Learn & Evolve: Stay current with Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and DevOps best practices to drive continuous improvement.Qualifications
To be successful, you’ll bring strong experience supporting and engineering Dynamics 365 solutions, along with a proactive, analytical approach to problem-solving. You’ll be comfortable working in complex environments, collaborating with multiple teams, and taking ownership of operational excellence.
- Proven experience in a technical support or engineering role focused on Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
- Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, including configuration, plug-ins, and integrations.
- A developer background with previous experience of working on C# focused projects.
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles, with experience using CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Relevant Dynamics 365 or Power Platform certifications.
- Experience supporting Azure services, including functions, serverless environments, and integrations.
- Familiarity with modern automation and cloud-native operational practices.
