As a Platform Engineer, you will take ownership of designing and evolving resilient digital platforms that accelerate delivery and power mission-critical services. Working across cloud infrastructure, automation, security, and observability, you will help set engineering standards and drive measurable improvements in reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
Within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, you will have the autonomy to innovate, influence platform strategy, and continuously improve how we deliver for our clients - shaping modern cloud ecosystems that make a national impact.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Design, automate, and continuously improve cloud platforms across multiple client programmes.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and delivery leaders to ensure platforms are secure, scalable, observable, and aligned with engineering best practice.
- Take ownership of infrastructure design, automation frameworks, and governance standards to enable faster, safer, and more reliable delivery for mission-critical systems.
- Guide teams on Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, containerisation, and security patterns while contributing to bids and driving platform innovation across engagements.
- Experiment, share knowledge, and elevate standards across the organisation.
