Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and delivery of modern Azure data platforms, helping clients transform complex data into valuable business insight.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, engineers and architects to create secure, scalable solutions that support long-term growth and innovation.
  • Help shape cloud strategies, promote best practice, mentor colleagues and contribute to technical leadership across CGI's growing data community.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design scalable Azure data architectures
  • Develop enterprise data strategies and roadmaps

  • Implement CI/CD and modern data engineering approaches

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Strong Azure data architecture experience
  • Experience as a Data Architect within enterprise environments
  • Strong data modelling and database design expertise
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB and Power BI
  • Knowledge of Azure security, governance and compliance
  • Experience designing scalable cloud data platforms
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Desirable qualifications:

  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification
  • Azure Data Engineer Associate certification
  • Azure AI or Data Scientist certification
  • Degree or equivalent professional experience
