In this role, you will use discovery and user insight to create service offerings that enable the effective testing and assurance of new assets and technologies across a large, distributed estate. Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. You must be based in the UK with the ability to travel to client site as needed.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Lead and contribute to discovery and service design activities
- Plan and conduct user research to generate actionable insights
- Design end-to-end service journeys, blueprints, and propositions
- Align complex stakeholder and technology requirements
- Communicate design rationale clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
Required Qualifications:
- You should have experience working as a Service Designer within complex environments, with the ability to balance user needs, organisational goals, and technical constraints.
- You will be confident delivering discovery work and producing service design artefacts that inform strategic decisions.
- Proven experience in a Service Designer role
- Strong user research and insight synthesis skills
- Experience delivering end-to-end service design
- Ability to manage complex stakeholder landscapes
- Confidence working with technical and non-technical teams
