Talent Planning Analyst
Location: Hybrid with our Leeds office
6 months Fixed term contract

As a Talent Planning Analyst in Leeds, you’ll help shape workforce decisions through meaningful insight, effective resource planning and strong stakeholder partnerships. You’ll take ownership of talent deployment and assignment activity, identify creative ways to improve processes and data quality, and work collaboratively with colleagues across the business. Your future duties and responsibilities:
In this role, you will take ownership of day-to-day workforce planning and resourcing activity, helping connect CGI professionals with opportunities where their skills can make the greatest impact. You’ll manage demand, availability and assignments while providing stakeholders with clear workforce insight to support informed decisions.
Working closely with HR, Talent Acquisition and business stakeholders, you’ll be supported by a collaborative network while having the freedom to identify better ways of working. You’ll use data and insight to improve utilisation, strengthen workforce outcomes and develop creative improvements to processes, reporting and data quality.
• Plan & Coordinate: Manage workforce demand, availability and day-to-day resourcing activity.
• Match & Deploy: Connect CGI Partners with suitable opportunities, coordinating interviews and timely feedback.
• Own & Manage: Coordinate assignments, extensions, transitions, role offers and Service Order processes.
• Redeploy & Support: Help Partners who are In Between Assignments identify suitable opportunities and support effective utilisation.
• Analyse & Inform: Use workforce data to provide meaningful insight and support stakeholder decision-making.
• Maintain & Improve: Ensure accurate profiles, demand and assignment information within CGI Talento.
• Collaborate & Deliver: Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition and business stakeholders to achieve effective workforce outcomes.
• Improve & Innovate: Identify opportunities to enhance processes, reporting and data accuracy.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
You’ll bring experience in talent planning, resourcing, workforce planning or assignment management, alongside strong organisational, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills. You should be comfortable working with workforce data and systems, taking ownership of competing priorities and finding practical solutions, while collaborating effectively with colleagues across the business.
• Experience in talent planning, resourcing, workforce planning or assignment management.
• Good understanding of workforce deployment, utilisation and demand management.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to analyse data and translate findings into meaningful workforce insight.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive, solution-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
• Confidence working with systems, reporting tools and workforce data.
• Recruitment or resourcing support experience would be advantageous.
• Experience with resourcing platforms such as Talento would be beneficial.
• Understanding of the end-to-end workforce lifecycle would be advantageous.
