Senior Service Designer in Leeds

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Work as a Senior Service Designer supporting a small internal design team during discovery phases.
• Apply user research and insight to shape clear end-to-end service propositions, translating complex organisational, stakeholder, and technology needs into practical scalable service designs.
• Take ownership of service design deliverables, collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and stakeholders, and help ensure services are user-centred, viable, and ready for implementation.
• Challenge assumptions, contribute ideas, and grow your capability within a supportive design community.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Experience working as a Service Designer within complex environments with the ability to balance user needs, organisational goals, and technical constraints.
• Confidence delivering discovery work and producing service design artefacts that inform strategic decisions.
• Proven experience in a Service Designer role.
• Strong user research and insight synthesis skills.
• Experience delivering end-to-end service design.
• Ability to manage complex stakeholder landscapes.
• Confidence working with technical and non-technical teams.
