As a Junior Architect, you’ll play a key role in supporting enterprise-wide technology initiatives, helping to design and govern solutions that drive business value and modernisation. Working alongside experienced architects and delivery teams, you’ll contribute to large-scale transformation programmes, explore emerging technologies including AI and cloud, and help create scalable, future-ready solutions.

Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Support & Maintain enterprise architecture artefacts, standards, and roadmaps
- Review & Align solution designs against architecture principles and technology strategy
- Contribute & Document architecture decisions, diagrams, and technical standards
- Collaborate & Engage with solution architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders
- Evaluate & Research emerging technologies including AI, cloud, and data platforms
- Identify & Recommend opportunities for reuse, simplification, and standardisation
- Participate & Support architecture governance forums and review boards
- Track & Manage architecture risks, decisions, and technical debt
- Gather & Translate business requirements into architectural considerations
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
To succeed in this role, you'll bring a strong foundation in technology or architecture alongside a genuine interest in developing enterprise architecture expertise. You should be comfortable working collaboratively across teams, communicating technical concepts clearly, and contributing to structured documentation and governance activities. Exposure to cloud technologies, modern data environments, or transformation programmes will be highly beneficial.
Essential qualifications and experience:
- You should have 2–5 years' experience in technology, architecture, engineering, or related roles
- Foundational understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF
- Familiarity with cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Exposure to architecture modelling tools, governance processes, or technical standards
- Interest in AI, enterprise transformation, and emerging technologies
- Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and develop professionally
