As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing critical environments, ensuring system stability, security, and performance.

Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. The role is based on site 5 days per week in Reading Berkshire.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Support the resolution of a backlog of infrastructure issues.
- Implement system changes and security patches.
- Respond to incidents across secure environments.
- Work within air-gapped reference and development environments based in Reading.
- Maintain the reliability, security, and operational effectiveness of critical systems.
- Take ownership of technical issues from investigation through to resolution.
- Work closely with stakeholders to implement approved changes and maintain accurate documentation.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the stability and continuous improvement of a secure infrastructure estate while working as part of a collaborative and knowledgeable team.
