This role requires you to be eligible to hold UK Security Clearance and be willing to undergo the clearance process. This position will be site-based five days a week at a location to be confirmed. Candidates should be prepared to travel and stay away from home where required. Travel and accommodation expenses will be covered.

As a Field Infrastructure Engineer, you'll help build resilient cloud and on-premise environments that enable innovation, operational excellence and secure service delivery. Working alongside clients, partners and highly skilled technical teams, you'll take ownership of complex infrastructure challenges, deliver innovative solutions and continue to develop your career within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Design & Deliver infrastructure solutions across cloud and on-premise environments
- Deploy & Configure compute, storage and network components
- Integrate & Support cloud platforms, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
- Monitor & Optimise system performance, availability and reliability
- Troubleshoot & Resolve technical issues across infrastructure services
- Collaborate & Deliver with internal teams and external partners
- Report & Communicate system status, risks and technical updates
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Strong experience in infrastructure engineering within enterprise or secure environments
- Solid understanding of cloud or virtualised platforms and systems administration
- Proven experience in infrastructure engineering
- Systems administration skills within enterprise environments
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals
- Experience with cloud infrastructure or virtualised environments (Ideally Oracle Cloud)
- Experience with virtualisation technologies
- Proven ability in troubleshooting and incident resolution
- Experience with container technologies and image management (desirable)
- Knowledge of automation, scripting or secure environments (advantageous)
