Your future duties and responsibilities: In this role, you will focus on developing new opportunities across Scotland’s Local Government sector, expanding CGI’s reach beyond established accounts. You will use your knowledge of the local government landscape and your professional network to identify opportunities, initiate conversations, and position CGI as the partner of choice. Working closely with internal teams, you will shape a coherent business development strategy, build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, and help create the pipeline that will underpin future growth. You will also collaborate with marketing and bid teams to craft compelling propositions, ensuring CGI is strongly positioned to win work that transforms services for citizens. This is a role where your ability to take ownership, bring creativity to engagement strategies, and thrive in a supportive environment will be key to your success.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across Scotland’s Local Government sector
- Build and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders in councils and public sector bodies
