This role will involve mainly remote working with some occasional (expensed) travel to our offices, or client offices across the UK. All applicants must hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) to Security Check (SC) level as a minimum.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day support and operational oversight for one or more CGI-managed service clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, promoting a collaborative service delivery model.
• Triage and manage client-reported issues using standard ITSM tools, ensuring alignment with SLAs.
• Maintain accurate, high-quality service records and documentation.
• Develop and apply an in-depth understanding of the client’s platform and applications.
• Escalate incidents when appropriate and work closely with technical teams to ensure resolution.
• Identify areas for process improvement and drive operational efficiency.
• Operate within Agile environments and adopt varying Agile practices.
• Support and monitor services in AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Participate in an on-call support rota outside standard working hours when required.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
We’re seeking a DevOps Analyst with the following skills and experience:
• Proven experience in Level 2 IT support or similar technical support roles.
• Demonstrated ability in triaging support tickets in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong incident management and problem-solving capabilities.
• Familiarity with the ITIL framework; experience with release management is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Service Desk.
• Good understanding of cloud platforms, especially AWS and Azure.
• Experience with report generation and data extraction.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
