As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and supporting cloud and on-premise environments that power mission-critical services. Working alongside industry experts, clients, and technology partners, you will help solve complex infrastructure challenges, contribute innovative ideas, and build a rewarding career within a collaborative environment where your expertise is valued, your development is supported, and your work makes a real difference.

You will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This position will be based on site 5 days a week.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Design & Deliver secure infrastructure solutions across cloud and on-premise environments
  • Deploy & Configure compute, storage, networking, and virtualisation platforms
  • Integrate & Support cloud technologies, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure where applicable
  • Monitor & Optimise infrastructure performance, availability, capacity, and resilience
  • Troubleshoot & Resolve complex infrastructure incidents and technical issues
  • Collaborate & Deliver with cross-functional teams, clients, and technology partners
  • Automate & Improve operational processes through scripting and infrastructure automation where appropriate
  • Communicate & Report technical progress, risks, and system health to stakeholders

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer within enterprise or secure environments
  • Strong systems administration experience across Windows and/or Linux platforms
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, and firewalls
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms, ideally Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
  • Experience with virtualisation technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
  • Proven troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident resolution skills
  • Experience with container technologies and image management (desirable)
  • Knowledge of automation, scripting (e.g. PowerShell, Bash, Python), or Infrastructure as Code (advantageous)
  • Ability to work within secure environments and obtain or hold UK Security Clearance
