This position will be based on site near Gloucester or in Central London 5 days a week.
Your future duties and responsibilities
In this role, you will design, implement and support secure network infrastructure across cloud and on-premise environments, ensuring high levels of performance, resilience and security.
You will take ownership of network services across routing, switching and security, supporting both project delivery and operational activities within complex, secure environments.
Working closely with engineering teams and partners, you will help deliver reliable and scalable connectivity solutions, applying innovative approaches while being supported by experienced colleagues and a collaborative culture that encourages continuous improvement.
- Design & Deliver secure network infrastructure across hybrid environments
- Configure & Maintain routing, switching and network security components
- Integrate & Support connectivity with cloud platforms
- Monitor & Optimise network performance, availability and resilience
- Troubleshoot & Resolve network incidents and technical issues
- Collaborate & Deliver with internal teams and external partners
- Report & Communicate network performance, risks and operational updates
- Required qualifications to be successful in this role
You should have strong experience in network engineering within enterprise or secure environments, with a solid understanding of routing, switching and security principles.
Experience supporting cloud-integrated networks and resolving complex issues is essential.
