In this role, you will design, develop and deliver scalable data solutions that enable clients to unlock the full value of their data.
You'll build robust data pipelines, develop cloud-based data models and create intuitive dashboards that provide meaningful insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.
Working closely with business stakeholders, you'll translate complex requirements into practical, high-quality solutions that improve reporting, analytics and business performance.
You'll collaborate with architects, software engineers and platform teams throughout the solution lifecycle, from requirements gathering and technical design through to deployment and continuous improvement.
You'll also help strengthen data governance, improve data quality and identify opportunities to modernise data platforms using emerging technologies and engineering best practices.
Key responsibilities
- Design & develop scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions
- Build & maintain ETL/ELT processes to support reporting and analytics
- Develop & optimise data models for trusted business insights
- Analyse & transform complex datasets to improve data quality and usability
- Create & enhance interactive dashboards and visualisations using Power BI
- Collaborate & engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Support & contribute to solution architecture, data integration and technical design
- Produce & maintain technical documentation throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Participate & contribute to Agile delivery, Dev Ops and CI/CD practices
- Improve & promote data governance, metadata and information management standards
- Evaluate & recommend new technologies and approaches to enhance data engineering capabilities
- Monitor & optimise data products to ensure performance, reliability and business value
You'll be an experienced data professional with a passion for building modern cloud-based data solutions that deliver meaningful business insights.
You'll combine strong technical expertise with excellent communication skills, enabling you to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

- Experience designing and delivering data engineering or analytics solutions
- Strong Python skills (including Pandas, Flask and/or Fast API)
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
- Experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformation processes
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or equivalent cloud data platforms
- Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Experience using Git and Azure Dev Ops
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience working within Agile delivery teams and Dev Ops practices
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent practical experience
