Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end architecture for next‑generation HPC systems
- Align stakeholders across engineering, operations, vendors, and clients
- Deliver secure, scalable, and cost‑optimized HPC solutions for data processing and simulation workloads
- Set technical direction and drive measurable improvements in performance, reliability, and total cost of ownership
- Lead and develop high‑performing teams, mentoring and shaping engineering culture
- Influence decisions and roadmaps across a matrixed organization
- Drive cross‑functional initiatives including planning, risk management, and execution across globally distributed teams and vendors
Key requirements
- 8+ years designing, implementing, and scaling large‑scale HPC compute and storage architectures in production
- 3+ years managing and leading an HPC technology team
- Proven leadership with mentoring, coaching, and building team culture
- Design experience for performance‑optimized, high‑density CPU/GPU systems
- Deep command of the HPC stack: processors, memory subsystems, high‑speed interconnects
- Mastery of Linux‑based environments and HPC ecosystem
- Familiarity with HPC benchmarking, monitoring, and performance tuning tools
- Strong communication and stakeholder management for cross‑functional alignment
