The Role
We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our growing team. In this role, you will:
- Conduct descriptive functional assessments and develop behaviour support plans.
- Work alongside individuals, families, and staff to implement effective PBS interventions.
- Mentor and coach support teams to deliver proactive, consistent care.
- Analyse behavioural data to evaluate progress and improve outcomes.
- Help reduce restrictive practices in line with Restraint Reduction Network (RRN) principles.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary professionals including psychologists, therapists, and social workers.
What We\’re Looking For
We\’re seeking someone who:
- Has experience in PBS, psychology, education, or health & social care.
- Is passionate about improving lives and reducing behaviours of concern.
- Has excellent communication and team-working skills.
- Is comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
- Understands and promotes values such as dignity, respect, and compassion.
- Driving and own vehicle essential
- Qualified to a level 3 or above. Experience in delivering PROACT-SCIPr-UK training or holding a valid PROACT-SCIPr-UK instructor qualification.
