We are looking for a strategic, commercially minded Key Account Manager to join our experienced team. You will report to the Head of Key Accounts, and you will play a crucial role in building and nurturing longāterm relationships with our strategic partners. Your responsibilities will include overseeing complex tender processes, making strategic pricing decisions, and utilising your sales acumen to drive financial growth through successful contract renewals, upselling opportunities, and key account management. Collaborating closely with internal teams, you will ensure that the renewal process is seamless, from preāsale support to postāsale delivery. What youāll do
You will be the key contact for some of our most significant accounts, ensuring longāterm satisfaction, retention, and growth through strong commercial management and exceptional service.
- Manage and renew key accounts with energy consumption above approximately 50GWh, encompassing both electricity and gas customers.
- Oversee and coordinate complex tenders from enquiry to deal acceptance, ensuring efficient and professional handling of bids to secure contract renewals and negotiate favourable terms for Customers, TPIs and Brook Green Supply.
- Determine pricing and deal structures to optimise propositions and drive growth. Collaborate with the Trading Desk team to structure appropriate proposals and products, tailoring solutions for key accounts.
- Monitor account performance and identify opportunities for growth and upselling, explore and develop new products and opportunities.
- Achieve targeted financial growth through retention and upsell/cross-sell, significantly contributing to the companyās revenue and market share.
- Manage internal stakeholders in Operations, Finance, and CRM to ensure high levels of overall customer experience and satisfaction.
- Drive innovation to enhance the customer offering, staying updated on market trends and changes in the energy industry, acting as an industry expert for customers and enhancing the customer proposition.

Experience Required
- Demonstrable experience in similar roles with tangible delivery.
- Extensive experience in UK I&C energy markets. Specifically, knowledge and experience of the mechanisms/management of flexible supply products.
- Proven experience in key account management and commercial negotiations.
