Overview
Salary £25,770 – £28,000 per year pro-rata. This is an exciting opportunity to join our established finance team. You will help deliver millions of pounds of grants to charities and community groups that provide critical and specialist support to the most vulnerable people across Lancashire and Merseyside. You will be responsible for all aspects of the purchase ledger and will support the Finance Director on a day-to-day basis, maintaining finance records with a high degree of accuracy. While the role has a strong emphasis on payments, you may also support the team in recording income.
This is a part-time role, 14 hours per week, office-based in the centre of Liverpool’s commercial district.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the purchase ledger and support the Finance Director on a day-to-day basis, maintaining finance records with a high degree of accuracy.
- Support payments processing and assist with recording income as required.
Qualifications
- Thorough with strong attention to detail.
- Genuine interest in community affairs and enthusiasm for the organisation’s work.
- Familiarity with Sage 50 and Salesforce is an advantage but not essential.
