Summary Of Role
The HR department supports the business in achieving its goals by managing its most valuable resource: its people. Reporting to the Group HR Manager, the HR Administrator will be part of a HR team and be responsible for assisting in the efficient running of the HR department in the UK business. It is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to develop their career.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Support the end-to-end Recruitment & Selection process; job descriptions, job postings, screening, liaising with agencies, applicant tracking, scheduling interviews, reference checks etc whilst ensuring excellent candidate experience
- Ensure Hiring Managers are compliant and fair procedures are followed
- Build strong relationships with external recruitment agencies to source staff
- Coordinate onboarding for new hires, including conducting inductions and ensuring a positive and smooth transition into the company
Learning & Development
- Schedule employee training, acting as point of contact between vendors and participants
- Manage the companys Training Matrix, maintaining accurate training records and managing the online training platform (iHasco)
- Promote development and training within the company, ensuring all team members engage in training programmes in accordance with their training needs and EHS compliance
Payroll And Benefits
- Maintain accurate employee attendance and leave records for the purpose of payroll processing
- Support the Finance team by providing accurate payroll information
- Assist with benefits administration (pension, healthcare, life assurance etc), including enrolment and queries
Marketing / Communications
- Create HR related content for the companys employee communication platform, Workvivo
- Create HR content for company website and Linked In, externally promoting company achievements and updates
- Support the implementation of employee engagement initiatives and internal communications campaigns
- Champion the company as a great place to work, listening to employees and driving a positive employee experience
- Occasional representation of CField at external events including Careers Fairs
HR Administration & Documentation
- Provide general HR admin support to employees and management teams within the UK
- Manage HR administration and processes, including Offer letters, Contracts of Employment, Onboarding / Offboarding, Probation, etc
- Administer documentation pertaining to statutory forms eg. Maternity, paternity, sick leave, pension, bike to work etc
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the company HR system, BambooHR, in accordance with data protection legislation
- Manage HR inbox in conjunction with the HR team
- Support HR audits and compliance reviews
- Perform any other administrative and ad-hoc duties as and when required
Key Skills
- Minimum 1 years experience in HR admin role
- Ability to handle confidential data with discretion
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build excellent working relationships with a wide range of people
- Enthusiastic, personable and approachable
- Excellent organisational skills, capable of prioritising workload
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Strong drive to continuously improve systems and processes
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to use own initiative and work with a proactive approach
- Flexibility to travel as and when required (This role is office based in London, but the candidate will be required to visit sites and other CField offices on occasion including Scotland)
