Due to continuing expansion, CField is seeking a motivated MEP Graduate to join our existing team in Edinburgh. The candidate will be responsible for assisting the MEP department in pre‑construction, procurement, design and operations. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESDuties include but are not limited to:
- Supervise MEP subcontractors onsite and manage installation schedules
- Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- Assist in resolving technical issues and conflicts related to MEP systems
- Ensure timely delivery of MEP components
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams
- Review and interpret MEP design documents and specifications
- Track and manage the flow of technical information between Design Teams and specialist subcontractors
- Ensure MEP works are delivered and implemented to approved designs and specifications
- Monitor on‑site installations and ensure stage checks are completed to required standards and comply with all relevant CField internal processes including EHS and HR policies
- Maintain processes and documentation in the MEP department
- Attend weekly project review meetings
- Submit weekly project progress reports
A relevant third level degree or professional qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or building services. Proficient in (e.g., AutoCAD, RevitMEP software). Strong understanding of building codes, safety standards and construction processes and procedures. Highly organised with the ability to work to tight deadlines. Excellent attention to detail. Proficient IT skills with good working knowledge of MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
