Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations to diagnose mental health disorders in adult patients, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and more.
- Treatment Planning: Develop personalized treatment plans based on diagnostic assessments, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as medication management, psychotherapy, and other modalities.
- Medication Management: Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, monitoring patient progress, side effects, and adjusting treatment as necessary.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other mental health professionals, including therapists, social workers, and nurses, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
- Ongoing Care: Provide ongoing monitoring and follow-up care for patients to ensure optimal treatment outcomes and adjust care plans as needed.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
