CFC are transforming cyber insurance by proactively protecting our clients from modern day security risks. We have a very exciting role to be at the forefront of redefining an industry and to help us win the Cyber technology arms race. You will be working with stakeholders across the business, conducting customer research and partnering with our data science and technology teams to build a world‑class proactive cyber threat engine that identifies highly claims correlated vulnerabilities, risks and threats.
In this role, you will have primary accountability for the creation and success of a data platform that underpins our award winning systems that write Cyber risks. In order to be successful you will need to be deeply analytical and familiar with the underlying datasets. You will constantly refine and refactor capabilities so that they become more accurate and efficient over time.
You will have come from a deep cyber background but be also able to challenge long held assumptions around the way insurance is transacted. This domain expertise will be particularly beneficial if acquired from an InsureTech or Cyber technology organisation. You will have the ability to work with key stakeholders across the business (including c‑suite) to ensure consensus of direction, priorities are well understood, progress is communicated and any issues are escalated.
Although you aren’t expected to write code in this role, it is inherently technical in nature and therefore you should be able to hold your own when it comes to discussing threats and vulnerabilities with security professionals, be able to converse with architects about data caching techniques and have the intellect to keep up with our Data Scientists!
