The Operations Support Coordinator plays a central role in ensuring CFC’s underwriting operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in line with our ambitious growth plans. As part of a high‑performing team that drives process excellence and challenges the status quo, this role sits at the heart of our operational engine - supporting centralised workflows, coordinating key business processes, and enabling underwriting teams to work at pace and scale. Working in a fast‑moving environment where accuracy, structure, and proactive problem‑solving are essential, you will gain deep exposure to CFC’s systems, workflow design, and multiple underwriting classes. Key responsibilities

  • Underwriting File reviews
    • Oversee the process and document report findings and themes back to underwriting teams
    • Maintain accurate records of reviews completed and findings identified
    • Peer review teams findings and feedback any discrepancies to respective ops team members
  • Operational Resilience & Business Continuity Support (Ad‑hoc)
    • Provide administrative and coordination support for Operational Resilience activities, including:
    • Supporting scenario testing preparation, such as:
      • Emailing teams to coordinate attendance
      • Assessing calendar availability for workshops, exercises, and meetings
    • Assisting with meeting administration, including:
      • Producing clear, concise meeting summaries and action notes
  • Operations Support Tasks (Ad‑hoc)
    • Support day‑to‑day operational activity as required, including:
      • Vendor Management – manage relationships with vendors including contracts renewals and invoice/payments.
      • Purchase order (PO) processing
      • Support managing external audits
      • Manual programme code set‑ups for underwriting teams
      • Supporting process‑driven tasks where additional capacity is needed
  • Cross‑Team Support & Inbox Management
    • Monitor mailboxes and handle operations queries from stakeholders across the business
    • Assist with cross‑team support tasks, particularly where Operations acts as a central point of contact
    • Triage requests and elevate or allocate appropriately
    • Ensure requests are tracked and followed through to completion
