The operations team is a cornerstone in driving change and scaling the business in line with our ambitious growth trajectory. We focus on driving efficiencies and best practices throughout our underwriting processes, challenge how CFC operates today and work at setting up all teams for additional growth.
This Operations Support Team Leader 12 month FTC will be responsible for our operational resilience and business continuity programme, overseeing regular testing and reviews and ensuring our framework is kept up to date. The role gives an opportunity to gain management experience and will work with numerous teams across the business in an extremely collaborative and positive team environment.
In this role you are responsible for handling, monitoring and enhancing centralised processes across the business. This includes:
- Conducting and monitoring underwriting file reviews across the company.
- Managing and handling centralised operations queries from people across the business.
- Overseeing various processes and registers across the business and actioning requests.
- Improving processes and creating a reporting framework to ensure quality and measurability across the team's output.
- Setting standards and creating centralised guidance and training for the team.
- Line-managing a small team of coordinators.
You will be a self-starter who is extremely organised and process driven. We are looking for someone with a good understanding of both the insurance market and support functions who has worked in an operational role previously. The successful candidate must be able to engage with multiple levels of management and stakeholders and have solid business and technical acumen.
You will have a proven ability to multi-task, with previous experience in a role managing several initiatives concurrently of varying sizes. You will bring proven management experience, including successfully line-managing a small team, and demonstrate strong skills in adaptability, time management, and a commitment to excellence.
