Description
We are looking for an experienced claims professional focusing on Financial Lines claims to further strengthen our claims team and to ensure that we continue to deliver a high-quality claims service to policyholders, brokers, underwriters and capacity providers. Not only will you be handling Financial Lines claims, but you will have had exposure to Directors & Officers (D&O) / Employment Practices Liability (EPL) / Financial Institutions (FI) / Warranty & Indemnity (W&I).

About the role
The Claims Adjuster (Financial Lines) key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

1. Proactively handle property and casualty claims on behalf of CFC\’s capacity providers from first notification of loss to settlement within the scope of CFC\’s delegated authorities.
2. Foster good relationships with policyholders, brokers, underwriters and capacity providers, and drive excellent customer service.
3. Actively work with a panel of response vendors during claims incidents.
4. Ensure that there is prompt and accurate reserving, identifying and pursuing relevant third party recoveries and seeking to reduce claims leakage.
5. Working closely with underwriters providing feedback on claims issues/trends and the Products team concerning the development of CFC\’s products and wordings.

About you

1. At least 2 years\’ claims handling experience in Financial Lines Claims
2. Good understanding of insurance policy wordings, knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements specific to Lloyd\’s, MGAs and the Financial Ombudsman
3. An interest in pursuing a career in insurance and developing associated skills and knowledge.
