Exciting opportunity to lead a major English language programme in South East Asia. CfBT runs the world’s largest, longest‑running and most successful programme to develop English language proficiency in government schools. Working alongside the Ministry of Education in Brunei Darussalam since 1984, the programme delivers innovative, high‑impact teaching and learning for Bruneian students. Through specialised national support and continuous building of our own and local capacity across schools, we support our students to become proficient English speakers and confident learners.
We are seeking an exceptional leader to serve as Chief Executive Officer of CfBT in Brunei. This important role will drive the strategic direction, operational excellence, and educational impact. You will lead and develop strategic relationships with the Ministry of Education, Board of Trustees, and other key stakeholders, representing CfBT and Education Development Trust (edt) at the highest levels. You will oversee the delivery of the English Language Teaching Project (ELTP) and broader educational initiatives, ensuring quality, compliance, and financial sustainability.
Benefits- Competitive tax‑free salary between B$136,000 – B$153,000 (Currently equivalent to £80‑90k)
