Site Protection Officer (SPO)

CFB Risk Management Services CIC (CFBRMS) was established in 2011. The “CIC” indicates we are a Community Interest Company, meaning we do not have shareholders, and profits are donated to good causes within the local communities we serve.

Our origins are in Teesside, working with local businesses in one of Europe\’s largest high-hazard industrial clusters. Over time, our reputation has grown internationally, allowing us to offer training, consultancy, fire engineering, and asset protection services worldwide.

As we expand and pursue new contracts, we are seeking expressions of interest from experienced candidates for the role of Site Protection Officers. Full details will be provided during the interview process due to confidentiality.

Emergency Preparedness

• Support the development of pre-incident plans for site scenarios
• Test, maintain PPE, and keep appropriate records
• Monitor, test, and record equipment to ensure operational readiness
• Review site fire risk assessments as needed
• Inspect and report faults for firefighting equipment
• Assist in monitoring on-site alarm systems
• Liaise with emergency services during incidents
• Provide immediate response and first aid in emergencies
• Qualifications: FREC 3, HGV Class 2 License, Medical response, First Aid
• Experience: JOIFF Fire Fighting, Confined Space Rescue

Site Security

• Manage site access and security
• Assist with CCTV, switchboard, inductions, and key distribution
• SIA license required

Development (Self and Team)

• Maintain competence against national standards
• Confined Space Rescue Team qualification is beneficial

Other Responsibilities

• Participate in review meetings
• Promote equality, diversity, respect, and dignity
• Maintain safe work systems and comply with health and safety regulations
• Qualifications: BA, teaching qualification (beneficial), aviation experience (desirable)
• Note: Do not apply without FREC 3, HGV Class 2, or firefighting experience.
