Your role

Do you have an interest in the Private Credit and/or Private Markets space? Have you worked on product management or development initiatives in the past? Do you want to help us develop and manage the highest quality products for our clients? We're looking for a Product Structuring Specialist to:

  • help innovate and evolve the direct Alternative products offering across global markets
  • efficiently manage product lifecycle requirements in support of maintaining an efficient shelf
  • manage the impact of regulatory changes on the direct Alternative product shelf
  • help drive the continuous improvement of the systems and processes supporting the shelf, including the relevant data and document strategy
  • be a key liaison for other areas of Asset Management including the Operating Office (including Fund Management Companies)
  • work with legal, tax, investment and operations teams to assess suitable and efficient solutions
  • work with fund boards to affect strong and robust fund governance procedures
  • research the market for new product initiatives and prepare strategic product recommendations

Your team

You’ll be working in the Alternative Product Structuring team based in London. We are part of the Structuring & Client Platform function within UBS Asset Management’s Client Coverage organisation. Structuring & Client Platform has a range of responsibilities including the development and management of the entirety of the UBS Asset Management direct Alternative and ETF product shelf.

The Alternative Product Structuring team is primarily responsible for overseeing the product offering across UBS Asset Management’s Credit Investment Group (UBS Asset Management’s direct Private Credit platform), and the Global Real Assets business (principally covering direct Real Estate and direct Infrastructure). This role is expected to focus exclusively on UBS Asset Management’s Credit Investment Group and the direct Infrastructure business of Global Real Assets.

As a Structuring Specialist, you’ll work closely with portfolio management, investment specialist and client coverage distribution teams to support the management of the direct Alternatives products shelf, the lifecycle aspect of the shelf and the broader commercial priorities for each investment area.

Your expertise

  • financial sector experience with a focus on Private Credit funds (including open-ended, closed-ended, evergreen and structured funds) and/or on Private Market funds more generally
  • Bachelor's/master's degree in finance, accounting or related field
  • experience with fund operations and regulatory environment preferable
  • CFA/ CAIA charter holder desirable (not mandatory)
  • proactive self-starter who has a keen eye for detail
  • collaborative personality, with the ability to complete tasks independently
  • ability to communicate effectively with different types of stakeholders with differing priorities
  • proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and strong ability to manage and analyse data
  • strong aptitude to challenge the status quo and drive improvements
  • strong project management skills and an execution focused mindset
  • fluent in English
