The role offers the opportunity to design learning that reflects how investment work is actually done, at scale and with lasting impact. This position sits within the Learning Content function and works closely with assessment, product, and subject matter experts to rethink how knowledge, skills, and professional judgement are developed across CFA Institute’s educational offerings.

What You’ll Do

  • Guide and coach external contributors such as authors, reviewers, and item writers, providing clear standards and constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to curriculum alignment with practice analysis, learning outcome frameworks, and advisory guidance.
  • Work effectively across global, remote, and cross-functional teams, influencing without formal authority and balancing multiple priorities.
What We’re Looking For
  • Credible experience in investment management, financial services, or a closely related field, with the ability to develop and apply deep subject matter expertise.
  • Experience contributing to or developing professional, university-level, or vocational learning materials, training programmes, or educational content in finance or related disciplines.
  • A clear and authentic motivation to work in learning and education, with interest in how adults learn and how complex practice can be translated into effective learning experiences.
  • A track record of producing accurate, high-quality, and market-relevant content, with comfort working through review cycles, feedback, and iterative improvement.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with internal teams, external contributors, and senior industry professionals.
  • Proven ability to operate independently in a global, cross-functional environment, balancing multiple priorities and delivering to agreed timelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence explaining complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • CFA Charterholder strongly preferred. Candidates without the charter will also be considered where they bring equivalent industry credibility and learning content experience. Other relevant professional qualifications (for example ACA/CA/CPA, FRM, CIPM, CAIA, or similar) are also valued.
