This is an opportunity to play a senior role in the continued success and growth of the Commodity Derivatives team, with a focus on Base and Precious Metals in the UK. The role is responsible for managing the Base and Precious Metals trading book in close partnership with the wider Trading team, combining strong market judgement, disciplined risk management, and collaborative execution.
The overall objective is to deliver sustainable revenues, support the development of the trading franchise, and build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Success in this role will be achieved through clear goals, strong partnership, and thoughtful execution of initiatives that support the team's business strategies and objectives, while ensuring all activities are conducted in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
This role has been identified as a Material Risk Taker (MRT) and falls within scope of the PRA/FCA Certification Regime. The successful candidate will therefore be required to be internally certified as performing a significant harm function.
