This role sits within the Investment Management team and is focused on bringing clarity and structure to complexity. Institutional real‑estate investors are managing increasingly complex and evolving debt portfolios, often across fragmented systems. You'll be sitting in our London office, working with some of the most sophisticated commercial real‑estate clients in the industry, helping them solve challenges in loan reporting, data management, and portfolio analytics. Leveraging our proprietary technology platform, you'll transform unstructured loan terms into structured, reliable data – enabling streamlined reporting, sharper analytics, and clearer visibility into portfolio performance. You'll become a trusted partner in helping clients proactively manage their loan portfolios and make more confident, informed decisions.

What You'll Do

  • Act as a day‑to‑day partner to institutional real‑estate clients, supporting the ongoing management and reporting of complex loan portfolios across multiple jurisdictions and structures.
  • Support client onboarding by translating loan data into structured, actionable models within Chatham's proprietary technology platform.
  • Design and maintain workflows for loan reporting, covenant tracking, portfolio analytics, cashflow projections, and financing activities including drawdowns, amendments, refinancings to ensure accurate and timely data.
  • Prepare client deliverables, including dashboards highlighting key risks, opportunities, upcoming maturities, covenant positions, and performance trends.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, providing clear, concise explanations of loan mechanics, and portfolio movements.
  • Collaborate with technology and product team to continuously improve platform quality, workflows, and the overall client experience.
  • Support senior team members in advising clients and ensuring consistency and excellence in delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, real estate, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in real estate finance, asset management, loan servicing, or real estate transaction law.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and extract key data from various types of real estate source documents.
  • Exposure to commercial real estate loans, with an understanding of their structure, terminology, and financial covenants.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of real estate operations, with the ability to interpret NOI, tenancy metrics, and transaction activity.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex ideas and information to clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Has strong financial modeling skills, with the ability to build and maintain complex models, analyze data, and clearly present insights.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA and CAIA are a plus.
