  • Finance Business Partner

(official internal job title is Finance Business Manager) to act as a strategic FP&A partner to assigned business areas.

In this role, you will help leaders understand performance, make informed decisions and connect financial planning to business priorities.

You will own core planning and reporting rhythms while also helping the Finance team improve data quality, reporting processes and the way insight is used across the organisation.

This is a hands‑on business partnering role for someone who can work with the numbers, shape the narrative and bring thoughtful recommendations to senior stakeholders.

What You'll Do

  • Act as a Finance Business Partner for assigned business areas, partnering with divisional leaders as a trusted FP&A advisor.
  • Lead core planning and reporting rhythms, including monthly reporting, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis and management reporting.
  • Translate financial data into clear narrative and insight for senior leadership, board and committee materials.
  • Support business decisions through financial modelling, product profitability, revenue analysis, vendor performance review and scorecards where relevant.
  • Work with HR Business Partners and business leaders on headcount, compensation forecasting and capacity planning.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting processes, planning methods and use of finance tools.
  • Contribute to the Finance team's longer‑term maturity journey, including stronger data governance and future AI‑enabled analysis.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven FP&A and finance business partnering experience, ideally in a mature organisation with structured planning, reporting and allocation processes.
  • Strong financial analysis, modelling, forecasting, budgeting and management reporting capability.
  • Ability to turn data into a clear business narrative and communicate confidently with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong Excel and Power Point skills, with comfort using financial systems and reporting tools.
  • Evidence of critical thinking, ownership and judgement: able to identify issues, develop options and recommend a way forward.
  • Experience supporting process improvement, data governance, reporting enhancement or finance systems/tooling improvements.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, finance or a related field; UK accounting / finance qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA progress or MBA are helpful.
  • Nice to have
  • MBA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA progress or another relevant finance qualification.
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Net Suite or similar ERP / reporting tools.
  • Experience supporting product profitability, revenue modelling, vendor analysis or scorecard reporting.
  • Interest in using AI tools to improve analysis, review materials or strengthen finance workflows.

Actual salary within the stated ranges will depend on the individual's experience, qualifications, skills, location, and other job‑related factors.
