Blaydon Based Positions Available. Multiple Recovery Driver Positions Available Based from our Blaydon Depot. Join one of the North East’s most respected 24/7 emergency response teams. About You

We’re looking for motivated, professional individuals who:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service, even in challenging situations

Previous breakdown or recovery experience is preferred, but not essential; we provide a comprehensive in-depth training programme for the right candidates.

The Role

As a Recovery Driver, you will:

  • Attend roadside breakdowns and incidents
  • Safely load and transport vehicles to secure storage
  • Operate state‑of‑the‑art, specialist rescue and recovery vehicles
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Play a vital role in real‑world emergency response

Shift Pattern:

2 Week Rota
Week 1 - Monday/Wednesday/Saturday/Sunday
Week 3 - Tuesday/Thursday/Friday 19:00 - 07:00

This is a hands‑on, rewarding role where no two days are the same.

Salary & Benefits

Hourly Rate: £14 per hour

Essential Requirements

  • Clean CRB - Police vetting will be undertaken as part of this role
  • Digital tachograph card
  • Driver CPC
  • Class 1 or Class 2 Licence
  • HGV driving experience
