About You
We’re looking for motivated, professional individuals who:
- Deliver outstanding customer service, even in challenging situations
- Remain calm, capable, and customer-focused under pressure
- Are reliable, safety-conscious, and proud of the job they do
Previous breakdown or recovery experience is preferred, but not essential, we provide a comprehensive in-depth training programme for the right candidates.
The Role
As a Recovery Driver, you will:
- Attend roadside breakdowns and incidents
- Safely load and transport vehicles to secure storage
- Operate state-of-the-art, specialist rescue and recovery vehicles
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Play a vital role in real-world emergency response
Shift Pattern:
- 3 on 2 off rota
- 24-hour on-call requirements must be met
This is a hands-on, rewarding role where no two days are the same.
Salary & Benefits
- Starting salary: £35,000 per annum
- Permanent position

Essential Requirements
- Clean CRB -Police vetting will be undertaken as part of this role
- Digital tachograph card
- Driver CPC
- Class 1 or Class 2 Licence
- HGV driving experience
- Ability to park up to 14-tonne recovery truck at home
