Membership Sales Representative – Animal Welfare

Salary: Competitive hourly rate + uncapped performance bonus (OTE £20+ per hour) Hours: Part Time – 3 or 4 days per week (including weekends) Location: Sussex & West Kent

CF Fundraising Ltd is looking for confident, friendly and professional Membership Sales Representatives to represent Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare at carefully selected venues and events across Sussex and West Kent.

This is a rewarding face-to-face sales role where every sponsorship and membership you secure helps provide lifesaving care for animals in need.

Working at pre-booked venues, you'll inspire members of the public to become long-term supporters of one of the South East's leading animal welfare charities.

About Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare

Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare is one of the UK's most diverse animal rescue centres, caring for dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds and many other animals.

Set within a beautiful 43-acre site in East Sussex, Raystede rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes thousands of animals while helping owners through education, advice and support.

Every new supporter you recruit helps provide food, shelter, veterinary care and a brighter future for animals that need it most.

The Role

As a Membership Sales Representative, you'll engage members of the public in friendly, meaningful conversations, sharing Raystede's work and encouraging people to support the charity through regular sponsorships and memberships.

Working at shopping centres, garden centres, agricultural shows, country events and other high-footfall venues, every day brings new people and new opportunities.

Your ability to build rapport, communicate with confidence and inspire support will directly contribute to improving the lives of thousands of animals.

  • Representing Raystede professionally at pre-booked venues and events.
  • Starting engaging conversations with members of the public.
  • Building trust and communicating the impact of supporting Raystede.
  • Inspiring people to become long-term supporters through regular giving.
  • Consistently achieving individual and team targets.
  • Delivering an outstanding customer experience on every interaction.

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly pay with uncapped performance bonus.

About You

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys talking to people and has the confidence to start conversations every day.

You'll already have experience in a target-driven, customer-facing environment and understand how to build rapport, handle objections and achieve results.

You'll ideally have experience in

  • Face-to-face, Member or Field Sales
  • Charity Fundraising
  • Retail Sales
  • Telecoms or Utility Sales
  • Brand Ambassador roles
  • Hospitality or another customer-facing role with performance targets

You'll also be

  • Friendly, approachable and naturally engaging.
  • Confident speaking with people from all walks of life.
  • Motivated by achieving results and earning performance bonuses.
  • Resilient, positive and professional.
  • Passionate about animal welfare.
  • Comfortable working independently while contributing to a supportive team.

  • A full UK driving licence holder with access to your own vehicle.
