About the Role
As Sales Director, you’ll set the strategic direction for new business sales, ensuring consistent sales execution, pipeline creation, forecasting discipline, revenue performance and team development.
You’ll work cross-functionally with Marketing and wider teams, build executive relationships, define best practice and lead a coaching culture that supports high performance and organisational growth.
This is a senior leadership role for someone who can combine commercial strategy, people leadership, operational discipline and cross-functional influence to drive sustainable new business growth for Cezanne.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the pipeline generation strategy across channels, collaborating with Marketing and cross-functional teams to support SQL flow and consistent pipeline creation.
- Own the discovery and qualification strategy aligned to corporate objectives, ensuring strong execution and standards across the team.
- Foster a coaching-first culture, using data and AI to drive continual improvement in sales processes and performance.
- Support the development of best-practice positioning and demonstration approaches across the team.
- Set the strategic direction for new business sales execution and ensure consistent full sales cycle discipline across teams.
- Drive strong CRM adoption and data discipline across the team.
- Drive pipeline discipline, deal inspection and forecasting accuracy across new business.
- Remain accountable for new business revenue performance and consistent achievement of Cezanne revenue targets.
- Build trusted executive relationships across strategic accounts and ensure strong stakeholder management discipline across the organisation.
- Define the strategy for RFX qualification and responses, providing guidance and coaching to support strong market engagement.
- Set the tone for a coaching culture that drives high performance and team development across new business.
- Define hiring strategy and build a high-performing team to support organisational growth and future leadership.
- What You’ll Bring
- 8-10 years of experience in the industry and senior sales leadership experience, ideally within Saa S, HR technology or a high-growth B2B environment.
- Strong commercial judgement and experience shaping new business strategy, pipeline generation and revenue performance.
- Ability to influence cross-functionally and build trusted executive relationships.
- A coaching-first leadership style with a track record of developing high-performing teams and future leaders.
- Strong operational discipline across CRM adoption, forecasting, pipeline inspection and sales execution.
