Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Warehouse Operative (FTC) To support manufacturing operations at Ceva Ridgeway and work with the team in maintaining the Goods In/Out process, on-site and off-site storage.
In this Warehouse Operative role, you will provide operational support as required for the Compton site manufacturing facility, to ensure continuous on time supply of key consumables, PPE and Raw Materials for use by the Production and Laboratory teams.
The role will be part of a small supply chain team working closely together supporting and covering each other as well as involving liaising and communicating with colleagues as well as external suppliers.
Accountabilities - Warehouse/Goods in
- Inventory management both physically and electronically within the stock management systems at both sites as required.
- The accurate and timely recording of stock movements.
- Assist with monitoring and maintaining Production and Laboratory's inventory levels, ensuring stock records are accurate and adhere to GMP/ COSHH.
- Receipting of incoming goods, storing stock in required locations, updating the relevant systems and applying relevant labels.
Downloading QC certificates to support quality release of products if required.
- Highlight low stock items to the Procurement and Warehouse Supervisors.
- Assist with the monitoring and disposal of expired stock and involved in the waste disposal process.
- Maintaining the warehouse area to be in a clean and tidy state.
- Assist in Bi-annual stock takes and month end cycle counts as required.
- Support with the transfer of materials and documents between sites.
- Carry out inventories and other regulatory routines. Escalate inventory-related anomalies and implement warehousing procedures.
- Assist the Supply Chain Lead in ensuring the continuous compliance to good warehousing practices.
- Ensure training records are maintained. Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:
- Full, clean UK Driving license to be able to move materials between sites.
- Experience in Facilities, Maintenance and/or Goods In/Out operations.
- Have worked as part of a team and demonstrated the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner
- Effective communication skills
- Time management, planning, organising and recording skills
- Previous experience working in a c GMP environment would be an advantage.
