CEVA Logistics has been awarded a major new contract with a high-profile client, marking an exciting phase of growth for the business expanding on our ecommerce offering. This is a new build implementation offering exciting opportunities across contract logistics. We have an amazing opportunity for a site-based Administration Manager to lead and govern all site-level administrative activity within our large, fast-paced ecommerce operation. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring payroll, people data, purchasing, reporting and compliance activities are delivered accurately, compliantly and efficiently, enabling operational performance, protecting cost control and maintaining strong governance.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Reporting into Senior General Manager, you will own end to end site administration processes, acting as the single point of accountability for administrative standards and performance. You will work closely with operations, HR, finance and central functions to ensure administrative processes fully support a complex, high volume ecommerce operation, with key focuses on:
- Leading and governing all site administrative processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance
- Ensuring accurate and timely payroll inputs, including agency and overtime data
- Maintaining robust people data management in line with GDPR and company governance
- Supporting onboarding, leavers, absence administration and people reporting
- Managing site purchasing, requisitions, cost coding and administrative cost control
- Providing validated data to support accurate customer invoicing
- Producing accurate administrative and operational reports for site governance forums
- Supporting internal, external and customer audits with accurate documentation and evidence
- Identifying administrative risks and implementing corrective actions
- Leading, coaching and developing the site administration team
- Driving continuous improvement, standardisation and process efficiency
- Support the Senior General Manager with any additional tasks as and when required
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
To be successful in your application you will have proven experience of leading administrative functions, ideally within a fast-paced operational environment. You will possess strong knowledge of payroll, people administration, purchasing and compliance processes and a proven ability to manage deadlines, accuracy and governance within a complex setting. You will be a natural communicator able to build excellent working relationships across site operations, with strong organisational and planning skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Exposure to multi-shift or high-headcount operations
- Experience of supporting audits, site start-ups or periods of operational change.
- Strong excel ability and reporting capabilities
- Understanding of cost control, invoicing and finance.
- Proven experience of working in an ecommerce environment
