Join our friendly healthcare delivery team as a Class 2 Driver, based in Northampton’s Brackmills Industrial Estate. You’ll play an important part in making sure vital healthcare products reach hospitals and patients safely and on time.
YOUR ROLEAs a valued Healthcare Driver, you’ll be responsible for delivering palletised healthcare products to hospitals and patients’ homes, helping ensure essential supplies reach those who need them most. You’ll safely offload goods using pump trucks and, where needed, handball deliveries to the customer’s room of choice. You’ll also complete all required POD documentation upon delivery. You’ll maintain the highest standards of Health and Safety, ensuring that all deliveries are carried out in accordance with MHRA (Medicines & Healthcare Regulatory Authority) regulations and company procedures. You’ll operate a range of vehicles – including 7.5T, 12T, and 18T trucks – depending on your assigned route for the day. This is a hands‑on, physically active role, but full training will be provided on all types of Material Handling Equipment. We are offering Monday – Friday shifts with a start time of 05:00‑06:00, covering 8‑11 hr shifts.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?To be successful in this role, you’ll need to hold a current, valid Class 2 licence with no more than 6 penalty points, along with a full CPC qualification and a valid Digital Tachograph card. The safety and wellbeing of patients is at the heart of everything we do. That’s why compassion, attention to detail, and a strong awareness of Good Distribution Practice regulations are essential at all times.
