Your missions:

The Site Lead is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, operational performance, and regulatory compliance of the company. The role ensures sustainable growth, profitability, and scientific excellence in the development and supply of autogenous vaccines, while safeguarding quality, biosecurity, and customer trust. It serves as the primary interface with key stakeholders (CEVA Northern Europe technical sales teams, customers, regulators, partners) and drives a high-performance culture across a multidisciplinary team (Production, QC, Supply chain, QA, regulatory, sales).

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the mid- and long-term business strategy aligned with commercial business plans and potential growth opportunities.
  • Ensure R&D capacity, Diagnostic and Manufacturing capabilities and resources aligned with strategy and vision for the Site and Autogenous vaccines.
  • Monitor industry and scientific developments to improve competitiveness.
  • Ensure efficient end-to-end operations for testing, manufacturing and delivering services and products to customers while meeting cost of goods standards, quality standards, and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee capacity planning, resource allocation, and cost management.
  • Ensure appropriate condition and availability of facilities, machines and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance to all relevant local and international regulations while ensuring manufacture of products in line with applicable quality standards and Ceva guidelines.
  • Design and execution of method, technology and product transfers from R&D or other manufacturing sites.
  • Planning and execution of CAPEX investments in line with the Site Business Strategy and Site improvement Master Plan.
  • Demonstrate collaborative and cross-functional teamwork with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Continuous Improvement, and all other support functions both locally and throughout the Ceva global network.
  • Establish and operate Tier system with right metrics to monitor operational performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement culture and initiatives to develop operational efficiency focusing on site and organization goals and objectives.
  • Improve the quality mindset, lead the analyses and problem solving activities to identify root causes of issues and deliver a sustainable solution to avoid reoccurrence.
  • Full P&L responsibility. Preparation of annual Budget, planning, controlling and reporting of expenses ensure financial processes are managed in compliance with local and Ceva requirements and processes.
  • Actively demonstrate and encourage full commitment for the environment, health and safety in line with local regulations and Ceva standards.
  • Ensure staff welfare, productivity and compliance with all legal requirement relating to employment.
  • Responsible for building and developing team fitting to the site operational goals and strategic objectives.

Your profile:

Qualifications:

  • B.S. /M.S degree or the equivalent in biology with more than 10 years experience in animal vaccine production.
  • Work Experience - Minimum of 5 years of management / leadership experience within a Bio Technology environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with track record of tangible improvements.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, P&L, and investment.
