YOUR ROLEOur growing Customs team based in Felixstowe is looking for a Customs Coordinator to support with customs clearances for our customers. You will have the opportunity to deepen your expertise through the UK Customs Academy, with full support to complete your Level 2 qualification.This is a hybrid, Monday to Friday role, with working hours from 08:30 to 17:00.WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?Accurately complete export customs declarations in accordance with customer instructions and current regulations.Ensure all job files are maintained and updated with precise data entry into customs systems.Act as the first point of contact for customer queries, ensuring all issues are addressed and resolved promptly.Ensure accurate filing, archiving, and maintenance of all Import and Export documentation.Maintain full compliance with all relevant documentation standards and ensure updates are accurately reflected across CEVA systems.Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers to support regulatory compliance, foster account growth, and drive continuous improvement.Support and participate in compliance audits.Stay up to date with HMRC and other statutory requirements to ensure compliance.WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?Our ideal candidate will have experience working in a customs, office, or administrative role and will be confident supporting a large and varied customer base. You will understand and apply best practice within your role to ensure compliance is consistently maintained, taking a proactive and efficient approach to customer communication. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and strong attention to detail. You will also be IT literate, with experience using MS Teams and Microsoft Excel, and confident navigating different systems to process customs entries.
