Our team based in Felixstowe is on the lookout for a dynamic Customs Coordinator to help us navigate the exciting world of international trade! If you’re experienced in customs clearances and have a passion for making things run smoothly, we want you to join our growing team. You’ll play a key role in supporting our Air, Ocean, and Road Freight customers, ensuring their shipments are cleared and on the move in no time! This role will see you working Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Reporting into the Customs Team Leader, you will ensure all customs clearances are actioned on goods exiting the UK. You will complete export declarations and transit movements ensuring a high level of attention to detail and accuracy is maintained to prevent any errors or oversights on documentation. This role will require regular communication and engagement with the customers, so you’ll need to build and maintain first-class, long-lasting relationships with them and be on hand to support at each stage of the process. You will support all growth and actively participate in creating innovative solutions and share best practice and knowledge.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Our ideal candidate will need to come with experience working in a Customs Administrator or Customs Coordinator role. You will need to ensure compliance is maintained, being proactive and efficient in your communication with customers, and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
