We are looking for a passionate Early Careers & Apprenticeship Professional to lead the development, promotion and delivery of our Early Careers strategy across CEVA Logistics and CMA CGM UK. In this pivotal role, you will create and manage talent pathways that attract, develop and retain future talent, while helping to shape the next generation of leaders across the logistics sector. Alongside managing external talent pipelines, you will play a critical role in driving the adoption and growth of internal apprenticeship programmes, supporting the upskilling and development of existing colleagues, addressing skills gaps and enabling career progression across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a comprehensive Early Careers and Apprenticeship offering across the organisation, ensuring programmes align with current and future workforce needs.
- Manage the Apprenticeship Levy and Digital Apprenticeship Service account, ensuring maximum return on investment and compliance with funding requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with training providers, educational institutions and external partners to create sustainable talent pipelines.
- Monitor programme performance, learner progress and stakeholder feedback to ensure an exceptional participant experience.
- Work closely with managers and stakeholders to embed apprenticeships into talent and succession planning activities, supporting both employee development and future workforce capability.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience managing apprenticeships or early careers initiatives within a large or complex organisation.
- Strong knowledge of apprenticeship funding, levy management and the Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS).
- Experience working with training providers, educational institutions and external stakeholders.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple programmes simultaneously.
- Outstanding stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- A passion for developing future talent and creating inclusive career opportunities.
