As a Warehouse Operative at our site in ADC Barton under Needwood, you will be part of a successful team who are committed to supporting a high-profile customer. This critical role within the operation directly contributes towards the efficiency and effectiveness of the team and operation.
The rotating shift time for this position is 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00, with a salary of £25,836.72 per annum plus up to £3,000 in supplements/bonuses depending on performance, attendance, and manual handling equipment usage. You will be working within a temperature-controlled warehouse, ensuring a comfortable environment all year round. The operation is clean, tidy, and well-organised, with strong standards and pride in the workplace. The role is designed around safe handling and sensible limits, with minimal manual lifting, and mechanical handling equipment is available where required (with full training and support provided).

Responsibilities- Unload vehicles and receive and put away items
- Pick orders, produce dispatch and carrier paperwork, and ensure this is logged onto the system where necessary
- Load vehicles in accordance with delivery manifests
- Liaise with Team Leaders to ensure work is allocated correctly
- Maintain stock accuracy
- Operate mechanical handling equipment where required (licences and experience are advantageous but not essential)
- Great team player but also able to work independently where required
- Confident communicating with colleagues and team leaders
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines and targets
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and maintaining high standards
