Our Customs team based in Belfast have an exciting opportunity for a Customs Coordinator in helping to navigate the exciting world of international trade. In this role you will play a key part in supporting our Air, Ocean, and Road Freight customers, ensuring their shipments are cleared and on the move in no time!
This role will see you working a rotational 4on 4off shift, 6am-4pm or 12pm-10pm.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?Reporting into the Senior Customs Manager, you will ensure all customs clearances are actioned on goods exiting the UK. You will complete import declarations, Import Control System (ICS) and Common Health Entry Document (CHED) declarations, ensuring a high level of attention to detail and accuracy is maintained to prevent any errors or oversights on documentation. This role will require regular communication and engagement with the customers, hauliers and freight forwarders so you’ll need to build and maintain first-class, long-lasting relationships with them and be on hand to support at each stage of the process. You will support all growth and actively participate in creating innovative solutions and share best practice and knowledge.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?To be successful in your application you will need to come with experience of working in a customs administration or coordination role, ideally within a fast-paced supply chain and logistics environment. You will be proactive and efficient in your communication with customers and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
