Ceto Talent is partnered with a Leading EPC Contractor known for delivering high-value and complex Energy Infrastructure projects. We are looking for an experienced Senior Contract Advisor to join them on a long-term contract basis, to support an exciting and UK-first Carbon Capture project within Liverpool Bay.
Overview: As a Senior Contracts Advisor, you will be responsible for reviewing, qualifying, and drafting a wide range of contracts, including EPC, procurement, engineering, service, confidentiality, nonâdisclosure, partnership/consortium/jointâventure, alliance, and subcontract agreements. You will also coordinate the workload with Tendering/Commercial, Project Management, and Procurement teams, gathering required inputs from supporting functions such as Insurance, Tax, and Finance.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Prepare clear contract summaries for tenders and projects
- Identify key contractual risks and advise management on how to manage or reduce them
- Take part in internal and external meetings, including negotiations, and produce notes or minutes
- Negotiate contracts in line with company interests and risk policies
- Support project teams with claims, variations and overall contract strategy
- Review subcontracts and purchase orders with the procurement team
- Draft contracts, legal documents and related correspondence
- Carry out legal research relevant to the company's work
- Help resolve contractual and legal issues with internal stakeholders
- Provide regular updates to management on contract management activity
What We're Looking For:
- Relevant experience in a similar role.
- Law degree or equivalent.
- Expertise in FIDIC, NEC, JCT contracts.
- Proven experience of reviewing and advising on tendering contracts and of administrating project contracts and effective negotiation skills are essential.
- Existing right to work in the UK without support of a visa.
