Ceto Talent is recruiting for a Senior or Principal Transport Planner to join a growing consultancy working across development planning projects. This is an opportunity to contribute to schemes from early feasibility through to planning and delivery, working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
Role Overview
You will support the delivery of development planning work across a broad project portfolio, advising on transport matters and working closely with clients and design teams. At Senior level, the focus will be on technical delivery and project responsibility. At Principal level, there will be additional opportunity to lead projects, manage client relationships and contribute to business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing transport planning reports including Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans.
- Supporting access strategies, feasibility studies and technical inputs for planning submissions.
- Liaising with developers, consultants, local authorities and project stakeholders.
- Managing projects, deadlines and client expectations.
- Reviewing technical work and supporting junior team members.
Requirements
- Experience within UK transport planning or development planning environments.
- Strong experience preparing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans.
- Knowledge of TRICS, TEMPro and junction modelling tools such as Junctions or LinSig.
- Ability to produce clear, concise technical reports.
- Experience working with developers, consultants and local authorities.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable
- Experience within residential, commercial or mixed-use development projects.
- Working towards or holding professional membership (TPS, CIHT, CILT or similar).
- Experience managing projects or supporting client relationships.
