CETO Talent is supporting a growing design consultancy that plays a key role in delivering complex projects across the water and rail infrastructure sectors. With an expanding project pipeline and continued investment in their design capabilities, we are now looking to appoint an experienced Senior Geotechnical Design Engineer to join their Manchester-based team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work across regulated industries, supporting critical geotechnical and civil design deliverables that have a direct impact on infrastructure performance and safety.

Rate: £350 - £400 PD (Outside IR35)

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Deliver geotechnical and civil engineering design packages in line with safety and quality standards
- Prepare and review GI specifications, interpretive reports, calculations, and technical drawings
- Mentor and support junior engineers and CAD technicians
- Lead and attend design meetings, investigations, and technical reviews
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry, group, and client-specific standards
- Estimate design hours and manage delivery against project deadlines
