CETO Talent is currently working with a rapidly growing design consultancy at the heart of the UK’s utilities and water infrastructure sector. As part of their continued expansion and growing project demand, we are looking for an experienced Senior Civil Design Engineer to join the team. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact clean and wastewater projects, supporting the delivery of critical infrastructure upgrades across the region.
Location: Manchester (Hybrid working)
Type: Contract - £350 - £400 PD (Outside IR35)

Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, efficient and compliant civil design packages across water projects
- Identify design solutions from scopes and site visits, and communicate effectively with clients and teams
- Support and develop junior designers and CAD technicians
- Prepare risk assessments, design reports and specifications
- Ensure compliance with water company and technical standards
- Estimate design hours and present at design review meetings
- Maintain accurate documentation of design changes
What You’ll Bring:
- Strong background in water sector civil design (clean and/or dirty water)
- Graduate, HND or significant experience from a technician route
