Senior MEICA Project Manager Location: East Sussex Salary: Up to £550 (OIR35) Contract Type: Contract I’m currently working with a leading organisation in the UK water sector that is looking to appoint an experienced Senior MEICA Project Manager to join their team on a long-term contract based in Bewl, East Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of major mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and automation (MEICA) projects, leading them from initial award through to commissioning and final handover. If you’re an experienced project leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record of delivering complex water infrastructure projects, I’d love to hear from you. The Role As the Senior MEICA Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal delivery teams, taking full ownership of programme, commercial performance, and stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities * Lead the delivery of MEICA projects from mobilisation through to completion and handover. * Manage multidisciplinary project teams to ensure successful project outcomes. * Develop and maintain project programmes, resource plans, budgets, and financial forecasts. * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and key stakeholders. * Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies. * Drive best practice across health & safety, environmental compliance, and quality standards. * Oversee commissioning activities and ensure a seamless transition to operational teams. What I’m Looking For * Proven experience delivering MEICA projects within the UK water industry. * Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent experience in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. * Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. * Excellent commercial awareness and programme management experience. * Full UK Driving Licence. Desirable Qualifications * APM, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management qualification. * SMSTS. * EUSR Water Hygiene. * Confined Space certification. Interested?
